The following are methods for storing LED flashlights when not in use for extended periods:
Storage method where the battery can be removed:
(1) Open the back cover of the LED flashlight, remove the battery from the battery compartment, and place it in a dry environment or a battery box. This will prevent short circuits.
(2) Store the LED flashlight, charger, and battery together, wrapped in a plastic bag, in a cabinet or drawer.
(3) Every three months, remove the LED flashlight and charger, insert the battery into the LED flashlight, tighten the back cover, and test if it lights up normally. If it does, turn off the switch and start charging the LED flashlight. When the charger indicator light turns green, it means the battery is fully charged. Remove the battery, put it back in the battery box or a dry environment, and store it properly.
Storage method where the battery cannot be removed:
(1) Fully charge the LED flashlight. The charging indicator light will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
(2) Place the LED flashlight and charger together, wrap them in a sealed plastic bag, and store them in a cabinet or drawer.
(3) Every three months, take out the LED flashlight and charger, turn on the LED flashlight for a period of time, then continue charging until fully charged. Return them to the sealed plastic bag and store them in a cabinet or drawer.
