1. Consider the intended use, such as night riding, night fishing, outdoor camping, caving, patrolling, etc.
2. Check the battery. There are two types: regular batteries and lithium batteries. Although lithium batteries are rechargeable, their lifespan is shorter, about 2 years. LEDs have a lifespan of about 10 years. Choose according to your needs.
3. Check the bulb. It's difficult to distinguish the quality of a bulb with the naked eye when it's off. Observe the consistency of the bulb when it's on.
4. Check the beam. A good LED flashlight has a uniform, circular beam, while a poor-quality LED flashlight has an unevenly distributed yellow and blue beam.
5. Check the brightness. A good LED flashlight has high brightness and a slow decay rate.
6. Check the waterproofness. A good LED flashlight is waterproof and shockproof, meaning it's drop-resistant.
7. Check the appearance. Most people know this better than I do, so I won't elaborate. I chose an aluminum alloy casing; it's aesthetically pleasing.
8. Choose a brand. A brand is another standard for defining quality. Without good quality, it's impossible to become a well-known brand. Therefore, when choosing a flashlight, you need to understand the brands. Depending on your budget, you can choose different brands of flashlights.
